I’m way late in announcing that the second episode of Magnetic Baby, the online documentary series by David Becker and Pamela Romanowsky about glam rockers Semi Precious Weapons, is available. I was reminded to get on the stick by a great article by Shira Golding at MediaRights who interviewed the filmmakers about how things are going in their search for funding and finding an audience in the pretty much uncharted waters of vodcasting a documentary.

“The pair screened early cuts to folks at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music and film festival, where they were shooting the band, and were encouraged by the positive responses. That’s when they decided to start getting the project out to audiences via podcasting. ‘Podcasting is just a very very cool, very accessible medium right now.
