NYT: The Danger of the One-Sided Debate

A while back, I posted a New York Times op-ed that none-too-subtly argued that veganism is an unhealthy diet, particularly for children. When I read it, though there were a few items that were contradictory to other books and articles I’ve read, I trust The Times and I believed that they wouldn’t publish items they knew to be incorrect fact-wise, even in the Op-Ed section (I presume they have an army of fact-checkers?). There was quite a back and forth here on my blog about the issue, and there was some follow up at The Times in Letters to the Editor.

I’m very happy to see (thanks to James!) that I’m not the only one who got suckered by the Planck op-ed, and that the there is some additional discussion about the issues raised by that column and another published later by Hamas. Read Clark Hoyt’s The Danger of the One-Sided Debate>>
