Let’s Get Lost
Isn’t that a dreamy title for a movie? I’m so looking forward to some wonderful upcoming doc programs in New York, including this restored classic by Bruce Weber. From the press release:
LET’S GET LOST, Bruce Weber’s acclaimed portrait of jazz icon Chet Baker, will play in a new 35mm restoration at Film Forum from Friday, June 8 through Thursday, June 28 (three weeks), kicking off its national re-release. Showtimes are 2:00, 4:30, 7:00 and 9:30. Bruce Weber will appear in person opening night at both evening shows. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary and Winner of the Critics’ Prize at the Venice Film Festival, LET’S GET LOST has not been seen for fourteen years in any form.
