Name that blog

You may have noticed that I named my - DOC IT OUT! Inspired by “Hug it out,” “doc” is now a verb. It seems appropriate to me because docs are active. They can be just stories but more often than not, these films come to us with a message - social justice, activism, thought, dialogue. I didn’t want to name my when I first started it because I didn’t know what it was going to be about, what voice and tone would it take? I’ve gotten lots of great feedback and when I started thinking about the dialogues I’ve engaged in, the people I’ve met, and of course, hundreds of amazing films from this past year, I’m so proud to be helping to amplify these messages and shout from the rooftops about new technology to spread docs far and wide. I don’t fight it out, sometimes I hug it out, but I always doc it out!
