You might have noticed a while back a sidebar widget for Blog Carnival - the idea is to aggregate posts on a topic and drive readers to contributing blogs (there are many Carnivals on a variety of topics). I submitted my Blindsight post to the latest cinema episode which just went up late due to the holiday. The contributions are mainly fiction - Babel, Rocky Balboa, Blood Diamond and Grudge 2 (?) and a bit out of date given the delay in posting, but hey, the rest of the world is still catching up on holiday movies!

The other nonfiction post is about Joyeux Noël, which “tells the true story of the ‘Christmas truce’ of 1914, a time when French and German WWI soldiers stopped fighting long enough to bring in the season together.”
