Mr. Smith is in Washington

As you hopefully know, I was working at the IFP Market this week, so forgive me for being behind in my posts. I had grand visions of being so organized that I would have time to post during the Market, but obviously that didn’t happen.

Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington Anymore?, the Silverdocs Audience Award winner, opened in DC yesterday (and is screening in many cities around the country). Since I know lots of DC folks, I wanted to be sure to alert you to the screening. Ann Hornaday gives the film a great review, ‘Mr. Smith’: A Poli Sci Class Worth Taking. And if you aren’t yet convinced, check out my previous comments from when I saw the film this past summer, Independence Day.

  1. Now that I’m in flyaround country, I lost track of the fact that “Mr. Smith” would be playing in DC this week. I also saw it at Silverdocs and thought it was a fantastic film.
