Ironweed Film Club

When I started this blog and was searching around for other media blogs, I came across the very awesome Ironweed Film Club. For a low monthly cost, members receive a “progressive film festival on DVD.” I haven’t had the cash to join yet, but I’m on the mailing list, and each month’s selections seem better than the last! This month is “Crime & Punishment” with Shakespeare Behind Bars, The Wildest Show in the South: The Angola Prison Rodeo and In the Box. And tho I haven’t been on in a while, they also have a nice community section geared toward discussing films and other progressive topics.
In addition to their great selections this month, they are helping out the Prison Library Project. Send your old books to them for a worthy cause!
Unfortunately I still haven't had a chance to see The Killer Within, but hopefully I can find time soon, especially ...
